Request Account Deletion
We're sorry to see you go. If you wish to delete your Real Stories account and associated data, please follow the steps below.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Send an email to support@appsphereone.net with the subject line "Delete My Real Stories Account"
- Include the email address associated with your Real Stories account in the body of the email
- We will verify your identity and process your deletion request within 30 days
- You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted
What Happens to Your Data
When you request account deletion, the following actions will be taken:
Data That Will Be Deleted
- Your account information (email address, login credentials)
- User profile and preferences
- Reading history and bookmarks
- Saved stories and favorites
- App settings and personalization preferences
- Any user-generated content associated with your account
Data That May Be Retained
- Anonymized usage analytics - Non-identifiable, aggregated data used to improve Real Stories (cannot be traced back to you)
- Transaction records - Purchase history and subscription records are retained for 7 years as required by tax and financial regulations
- Legal compliance data - Any data required to be retained by applicable laws or to resolve disputes
Retention Period
Your account deletion request will be processed within 30 days of receipt. During this period:
- Your account will be deactivated immediately upon request verification
- Your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- You will not be able to recover your account or data after deletion is complete
- Any active subscriptions will be cancelled (refunds are subject to Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies)
In-App Deletion Option
You can also delete your account directly from within the Real Stories app:
- Open Real Stories and go to Settings
- Tap on Account
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm your decision when prompted
This will immediately initiate the account deletion process with the same data handling as described above.
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you want to proceed before submitting your request. If you have any questions, contact us before requesting deletion.
