By using Real Stories, you confirm that:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

2. Description of Service

Real Stories is a reading application that provides:

• A library of curated true stories from history, science, and human achievement
• Stories available in multiple languages
• Bookmarking and reading progress tracking
• Customizable reading experience (theme, font size)
• Optional account creation for cross-device sync
• Optional in-app purchase to remove advertisements

3. Account Registration

Account creation is optional. You can use Real Stories without an account. If you choose to create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information during registration
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. In-App Purchases

4.1 Remove Ads Purchase

• Real Stories offers a one-time purchase to permanently remove advertisements
• This is a non-consumable purchase tied to your App Store or Play Store account
• You can restore this purchase on any device using the same store account

4.2 Payment Processing

• All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Payment will be charged to your App Store or Play Store account
• We do not directly process or store payment information

4.3 Refunds

• Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies
• We do not directly process refunds for in-app purchases

5. Advertising

Real Stories displays advertisements unless you purchase the "Remove Ads" option:

• Advertisements are provided through Google AdMob
• Ad content is determined by Google based on their advertising policies
• We strive to ensure ads are appropriate but cannot guarantee ad content
• Purchasing "Remove Ads" permanently removes all advertisements

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Share, distribute, or reproduce any content from the App without authorization
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the App
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Use the App in any way that could damage our reputation or business

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

• All content in Real Stories, including stories, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Appsphere LLC or our licensors
• Content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our content

7.2 Story Content

• Stories in Real Stories are based on historical events and public domain information
• Our written presentations and editorial content are our original work
• Stories are for personal, non-commercial use only

7.3 Trademarks

• "Real Stories" and our logos are trademarks of Appsphere LLC
• You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission

Your use of Real Stories is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 "As Is" Service

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Content will be accurate, reliable, or complete
• Defects will be corrected
• The App will meet your specific requirements

9.3 Historical Accuracy

While we strive for historical accuracy, stories are written for educational and entertainment purposes. We recommend verifying information from multiple sources for academic or professional use.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• APPSPHERE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL
• SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, SO THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU

11. Account Termination

11.1 Termination by You

• You may delete your account at any time through the App settings
• You may stop using the App at any time

11.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have:

• Violated these Terms or any applicable laws
• Engaged in fraudulent activity or misuse of the service
• Used automated systems or bots to access the App
• Acted in a way harmful to other users or our business

11.3 Effect of Termination

• Your right to use the App will immediately cease
• We may delete your account data per our retention policies
• Your "Remove Ads" purchase remains valid on the same store account

12. Modifications to Service and Terms

12.1 Service Changes

• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time
• We may add or remove stories from the library
• We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation

12.2 Terms Changes

• We may update these Terms from time to time
• We will notify you of material changes through the App
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

13. Governing Law and Disputes

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

• You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us
• If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration
• Arbitration shall be conducted in Michigan under the rules of the American Arbitration Association

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Appsphere LLC regarding the App.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.

If you downloaded Real Stories from the Apple App Store, you also agree that:

• These Terms are between you and Appsphere LLC, not Apple
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App
• Apple is not responsible for any product warranties or claims
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms

17. Google Play Store Additional Terms

If you downloaded Real Stories from Google Play, you also agree to comply with Google Play's Terms of Service in addition to these Terms.
