AI-Generated Content Disclosure

StoryBrook uses artificial intelligence technologies to create content:

• Voice Narration: All story narration is created using AI text-to-speech technology (ElevenLabs), not human voice actors
• Illustrations: Story images are created using generative AI image models

No personal data from child profiles is shared with these AI services beyond the child's first name used for story personalization.

Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active
• Reading history and preferences are retained for the lifetime of your account
• You can delete your account and associated data at any time through the app settings
• Upon account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days
• Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics may be retained for analytics

Account Deletion

What happens when you delete your account:

• Your account is immediately deactivated
• All user data including child profiles, reading history, and preferences will be permanently deleted within 30 days
• Downloaded content stored locally on your device should be removed by uninstalling the app
• Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
